Wing walking on a bi-plane in Surrey, abseiling face-first of a cliff in Chile and spinning on a hoop suspended 20 feet in the air – these are just a few of the things Andrea has done on live TV in her 22-year career as a television presenter. From relative safety of the studio, she has also interviewed some of the biggest names in the business, including Oprah Winfrey, Drew Barrymore, Will Smith, Dustin Hoffman and Amy Schumer. Working alongside stellar guest panellists such as Goldie Hawn and Eva Longoria, Andrea has hosted ITV’s multi award-winning live Daytime chat show Loose Women for 12 years, bringing her warmth, humour and journalistic skill to the small screen every lunch time.

Andrea spent more than a decade with the multi award-winning breakfast show GMTV, starting as a weather presenter, before utilising her Honours Degree in History, Politics and International Relations, and her Post Grad in Journalism to become part of their core team of hosts, covering live events and co-hosting the flagship show with regulars Eamonn Holmes and Ben Shephard, and standing in for Lorraine Kelly.

Andrea previously co-hosted the original Dancing On Ice Extra, the live daily spin-off show to ITV’s Prime-Time entertainment show Dancing On Ice, interviewing celebrities and their skating partners through the week, and after the weekend show.

As co-host on the live daily current affairs programme 3@Three on ITV, Andrea interviewed guests on subjects as diverse as drug abuse, religion in prisons and the flagging libido of middle-aged women in Britain.

Andrea fronted UKTVStyle’s Our House, overseeing the complete renovation of a challenging building project, interviewing and encouraging the team of experts from ‘sorry start to fabulous finish’.

Andrea was one of the team of presenters on 5’s Espresso, a live, daily morning debate show, covering news stories from around the UK in her trademark witty and informed style.
